COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is een hydraterende essence geformuleerd met 96% slakkenslijm om de huid te kalmeren en beschadigingen te herstellen. Het bevat ook vitamines om de huid te voeden en levert een hoge dosis hydratatie die licht en fris aanvoelt. Voor het beste resultaat; combineer met de COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All in one Cream.

Ingredients we love
- Slakkenfiltraat: Bevat een complex mengsel van onder meer heilzame enzymen, hyaluronzuur, koperpeptiden, zinc en ijzer. Heeft een significante antioxidatieve werking en vermindert de zichtbaarheid van fijne lijntjes.
- Hyaluronzuur: Hyaluronzuur kan tot wel 1000 keer zijn eigen gewicht in water vasthouden. Het is het voornaamste bestanddeel van de ‘extracellulaire matrix’, de substantie die stevigheid en structuur aan onze weefsels geeft.
- Panthenol: Een provitamine die de vochtinbrengende en hydraterende eigenschappen heeft, en ook ontstekingsremmend en beschermend werkt. Effectief tegen irritatie.

Gebruikswijze
- Breng s'ochtends en s'avonds een gewenste hoeveelheid aan op een gereinigde huid (eventueel na het tonen).
- Dep het product in de huid totdat het volledige geabsorbeerd is.
- Breng je favoriete serum en gezichtscrème aan.

Due my sling type I only use it in my night routine as I don’t like that “extra glow” that leaves (personal choice, I know some people like it but I’m more of matte vibe). Dit is mijn HOLY GRAIL voor mijn droge, acne prone en gevoelige huid. Het hydrateerd super goed en ik heb erna altijd een mooie glow. Ik krijg er helemaal geen irritaties of puisten van. Het is ook fungal acne approved, het bevat geen enkele ingrediënten (esters, lipids, fatty acids) die fungal acne kunnen triggeren. Mijn tip is om het aan te brengen wanneer je huid nog nat/vochtig is, net nadat je je gezicht hebt gewassen of na het aanbrengen van je toner. Hope this helps <3"}

Ik heb een combinatie huid en last van hormonale acne op mijn kin en wangen. Daarvoor gebruik ik 2x per week adapalene crème, die mijn huid erg uitdroogt rond neus en mond (schilfertjes). De snail mucin power essence van cosrx is een nieuwe toevoeging in mijn ochtend én avondroutine (na mijn serums en net voor mijn crème) en daardoor is mijn huid sneller hersteld en raak ik sneller van uitgedroogde plekjes af. Het voelt erg hydraterend en beschermend aan op de huid. Daarnaast heb ik ook het gevoel dat het oneffenheden (roodheid) wat meer egaliseert. Na 1 maand gebruiken, ben ik er blij mee en ga ik het product verder gebruiken. "}

Na veel positieve reviews heb ik het een kans gegeven. Ik kocht dit product aan in juni en gebruik het nu al enkele maanden. Ik breng dit aan na het reinigen van het gezicht en voordat ik mijn serum aanbreng. Het is enorm hydraterend en ik merkte dat mijn donkere vlekken (hyperpigmentatie) op mijn wangen meer en meer verdwenen. Dit is echt een geweldig product voor als je hyperpigmentatie wilt laten vervagen. Het voelt bovendien ook niet echt plakkerig aan, wat positief is voor mensen met een vette huid."}

I bought this product hoping it would help with redness and dehydration. I noticed a slight improvement in those areas and it feels pretty hydrating, even if I'm not a big fan of the sticky texture. Nowadays I use it for extra hydration when I feel like moisturizer won't be enough. However, after purchasing using more hydrating cleansers and moisturizers, I feel like it's unnecessary. A good moisturizer should already do what this essence does. It's a good product, just unnecessary for me. I think only people with very dry skin that need A LOT of hydration would benefit from this. A plus is that it's very mild, so sensitive skin won't be bothered by it."}

I don’t think this makes the product bad or anything but I guess it’s not for everyone. Graag had ik zoals het grootste deel van de gebruikers van de daken willen schreeuwen hoe fantastisch dit product is. Helaas, bij mij is dat niet het geval. Het doet niks slechts hoor, maar ik merk letterlijk geen verschil met als ik het wel of niet opdoe. Ik gebruik het inmiddels al een paar maanden en twee keer per dag. Al bekend was ik met diverse slakkenslijm producten. Zo deed de slakkengel van De Tuinen altijd wonderen, maar sinds ze Holland & Barrett zijn geworden, is de formule aangepast en werkt het niet meer helaas. Dus ik hoopte dat dit mijn nieuwe 'holy grail' zou worden. Mijn huid is gecombineerd: iets vettere T-zone met vochtarm wang-gedeelte. Geen plump- of dewy of glowing effect bij mij. Ja, als je het net opsmeert eventjes, maar zodra het is ingetrokken, zie ik helaas geen verschil.
Conclusie: ik vind het absoluut geen slecht product, maar voor mijn huid deed het niet waar iedereen zo enthousiast over is.
Pluspunten: a little goes a long way; twee pompjes per keer is genoeg, geen parfum en andere rotzooi, product is licht en lijkt de huid absoluut niet te verstoppen en lijkt daarmee ook acné vriendelijk.

The product is absolutely lovely and truly leaves a soothing, protective layer on the skin. I'd recommend it to anyone, with this one caveat: CAUTION! I'd advise against using this should you have either a shellfish allergy or a dust mite allergy. I wasn't aware, but apparently snail secretion can have adverse effects on people with these allergies. YMMV, but take this into account as I developed a rash. It saddens me greatly as it was the perfect winter shield.

I had high hopes for this product and purchased it to soothe and hydrate irritated, red skin. However, I feel like I can only apply it on moist skin or mixed with water in order to keep the sticky texture from causing friction and irritation on the skin. Even then, it doesn't feel comfortable or soothing for me. I do give it three stars because also applied it to some irritation on my arms and it seems to work as intended (help the skin recover) there. So I guess its a decent product, just not necessarily as advertised for all sensitive skin types.

Ik had veel goede dingen gehoird over dit product, maar voor mij werkte het helaas niet. Ik heb het eerst op een klein stukje van mijn arm geprobeerd. Het voelde eerst heel verkoelend en hydraterend aan, maar later merkte ik dat mijn huid roze en geïrriteerd was. Het is maar een milde reactie, en als ik niet wist dat ik het had aangebracht was het me waarschijnlijk niet opgevallen. Toch ga ik het niet gebruiken, gezien ik het had aangeachaft als een herstellend product. Jammer!

Fijne essence! Ik gebruik het als onderdeel van mijn avondritueel; voor overdag gaat mijn huid er iets teveel van glimmen. Ik had weer eens teveel aan mijn huid zitten pulken en de essence heeft geholpen mijn huid supersnel weer te laten herstellen. Top dus!

On its own I didn't notice a visible result, but in combination with another soothing essence I can see a boost in reducing redness and inflammation from breakouts using this essence.

Ik gebruik dit product als moisturizer in de nacht voor mijn vettige, vochtarme huid. Het product hydrateert heel goed. Verder merk ik niet echt verschil als het gaat om het vervagen van littekens ofzo, maar ik mis het product wel als ik het een dagje niet gebruik.

A while ago I got inspired by Korean skincare. Long story short: I’ve decided to add one more step into my skincare ritual. The essence step spiked me interest. And why? Because I’ve heard only good things about it and every time I see someone applying it into the face, it looks so freaking glossy, shiny, hydrated! So basically everything that claims to make my skin more hydrated, moisturised, plumped, smooth, I’m willing to try! *let’s be real..who isn’t?!*
And this is the one I bought, the Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence.
I’ve been using this for a while now and my skin feels indeed more hydrated, smooth & bright. It sounds even better if we think that we are getting this results already in the step right before the moisturiser, I mean… that’s amazing right?!

My holy grail products of all time! This stuff is amazing! I love everything snail extract, so 96% snail mucin? I had to buy this. This product really calms down my acne-prone/sensitive skin and it heals my skin so well. It really moisturizes my skin as well. In the winter I use this in the morning and at night, because my skin is quite normal then. However in the summer I get more towards the oily side, so I only use this at night when the weather gets hotter. I can't describe how much I love this product. If I had to recommend one product to anyone, it would be this one.

Best product I've ever used. I had a minor scar on my cheek from surgery. It never faded with the prescription ointments, but now since using this essence it has almost disappeared. Further, it makes my skin glow and super soft. Definitely a holy grail skincare product!!

This is a must in my skincare closet, I've bought it numerous times. I love snail mucin as a powerful healing ingredient, so this product got my heart by default. :) Though it's not exactly an 'essence' type of texture, but what else would you expect from a 96% snail extract? Calming, hydrating and soothing, it's a great product for a summer vacation: you can slap it on as many times as you get out of the pool.

I bought this once in summer and I didn't like it at all. However, this winter my skin has been acting up and I started using this essence again, and now I love it! I will probably have to stop using it again in summer though, with my oily skin.

Most likely my favourite product to ever exist. Has helped tremendously with fading my forehead bumps and smoothing out my skin texture. Even my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation isn't as bad as before since I've been using this. Would fully recommend!
