This essence is not good for my skin. It cause redness and my pores looks bigger with it. I don't put it on anymore.

Ik koop deze nu al jaren en dit helpt zo goed met mijn huidbarierre repareren en hydrateren. Ik weet alleen wel dat sommige mensen hier fungal acne van krijgen als je daar gevoelig van bent. Maar als je dit niet bij andere producten krijgt die dat uitlokken is dit echt top!

Heel goed product, ik heb gemengde huid (vette T-zone en droge huid met eczeem). Mijn huid is al heel wat beter geworden en mijn poriën zijn minder zichtbaar.

Good essence. Wouldn't buy it again due to my personal preference for non-sticky-feeling products. Just as any other product that has snail mucin in it, it does tend to be a little sticky for about 15 minutes.

Personally not a big fan. I found out that my face isn’t that big a fan of snail ingredients since I’m allergic to dustmites. Unfortunately I found myself developing spots because of this product. In general it gives a really nice glow though.

It worked for me at first, but as the weeks went on, I noticed that this product dries my skin out... also gave me cystic acne! I don't recommend for oily/acne prone skin.

Dit is mijn HOLY GRAIL voor mijn droge, acne prone en gevoelige huid. Het hydrateerd super goed en ik heb erna altijd een mooie glow. Ik krijg er helemaal geen irritaties of puisten van. Het is ook fungal acne approved, het bevat geen enkele ingrediënten (esters, lipids, fatty acids) die fungal acne kunnen triggeren. Mijn tip is om het aan te brengen wanneer je huid nog nat/vochtig is, net nadat je je gezicht hebt gewassen of na het aanbrengen van je toner. Hope this helps <3

Mijn favoriete skincare product. Ik heb last van acné, en tegelijkertijd kan mijn huid erg droog zijn. Dit product zorgt voor een goede genezing, mijn littekens zijn minder en mijn huid blijft gehydrateerd met een mooie glow. Ik kan niet meer zonder! Verder gebruik ik geen andere serums/essences.

Geweldig product. Mijn huid voelt binnen een week al veel zachter en het glanst meer.

This is the first ever K-beauty product that I bought and since then I just don’t want to be without it. It hidrates the skin so well and gives me that glass skin effect. I also like that it absorbs quickly. In combination with a good toner it did wonders for me.

Excellent product for my type of skin. It absorbes very well and prepares the skin for the otger products. I’ve been using it for more than 1 year now and I cant find anything that I like more. The skin doesnt stay sticky after I apply it.

Fijn product, wel te gebruiken op vochtige huid om de hydratie in te locken. Heb alleen nog niet echt het gevoel alsof het daadwerkelijk iets toevoegd, tijd zal het leren!

A really nice essence. I use it daily in my night routine. It helps with acne scars and acne in general and it gives my skin a glowy look. When I first used it, it created me some small pimples, but I usually get pimples when I first start using an effective product, so nothing concerning. It really helped my skin and I would totally rebuy it.

Een ietwat overhyped product. Ik gebruik het elke dag 2x. Het hydrateert mijn huid goed en geeft geen reacties. Het doet verder helaas niks tegen acne littekens. Ik heb wel wat minder last van acne. Tip: gebruik dit direct na een toner of op vochtige huid. Gebruik ook niet teveel 1-1,5 pompje is meer dan genoeg anders gaat het schuimen. Prima essence verder.

In het begin werkte het wel prima. Na mate ik het langer gebruikte, kreeg ik steeds meer last van een drogere huid. Just because it goes viral doesn't mean it will work for every person!

I've been using this product for a while, my skin tends to be very hydrated.

To be honest so far i have not seen any noticable changes in my skin. Ill give it sometime more to work. I think natural products have proven to show fast and greater benefits on my skin than chemical and mixed formulas

As someone with very sensitive skin, I find this product non irritating and very suitable for my skin. Everytime I use this product in the evening, my skin tends to be very glowy and hydrated in the morning. I absolutely love it!

Erg tevreden over deze essence, daarom voor de tweede keer aangeschaft. Deze geurloze en beetje slijmerige substantie is eerst even wennen, maar mijn huid gaat er heel goed op dus gebruik het dagelijks. Aanrader!

I've been using this before moving to the Netherlands, and it's just my holy grail night essence I cannot live without. Combined with a watery essence before this, it's my night routine must-have. I am now here to study with all 17-20 years old classmates and no one could pick up the fact that I am 10 years older than some of them hahaha. I think it really has got to do with my consistent use of this.

This product absolutely saved my skin-barrier! I use acne medication, which made my skin very sensitive, flaky and dry. I've been using this product for a while, and it gives me the most beautiful glow.

very hydrating and the price per ml comes out to be cheaper than any other hydrating serum. It doesn't smell like anything which is great. The texture is pretty slimy but that is obvious with it being snail mucin. will buy again!

This product is not good for sensitive and oily skin. It made me breakout within a couple days. I don’t recommend it for anyone who’s got problem skin. But since i’ve heard good things about it, i’ll wait and try it again once my skin gets healthy.

Very thick skin essense but i like it on my skin. Gives very smooth feeling. But i got 2 pimples after 3 days applying. One was gone already. Dunno if this product cause the pimples or other product . so far, i really like it

Ik heb een combinatie huid en last van hormonale acne op mijn kin en wangen. Daarvoor gebruik ik 2x per week adapalene crème, die mijn huid erg uitdroogt rond neus en mond (schilfertjes). De snail mucin power essence van cosrx is een nieuwe toevoeging in mijn ochtend én avondroutine (na mijn serums en net voor mijn crème) en daardoor is mijn huid sneller hersteld en raak ik sneller van uitgedroogde plekjes af. Het voelt erg hydraterend en beschermend aan op de huid. Daarnaast heb ik ook het gevoel dat het oneffenheden (roodheid) wat meer egaliseert. Na 1 maand gebruiken, ben ik er blij mee en ga ik het product verder gebruiken.

Lovely essence that never fails to hydrate and soften my (dry acnéprone and sensitive) skin. My skin does not look (and feel!) as red and irritated as before. The essence is full of antioxidants, including Snail Secretion Filtrate, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Allantoin and Panthenol (Pro-vitamin B5). Ingredients seem to be good for all/most skin types. Would recommend (and repurchase)!

I've been using it everyday for a few weeks now and I absolutely love the plumpiness and hydration it gives your skin! For someone who has combination skin, I thought this might break me out on some parts of my face 'cause of its thicker texture, but it didn't! Asborbs really well and doesn't leave your sticky afterwards.

I really love this essence. It is perfect for my combination skin. It moistrizes my face, without any irritation. My skin does not feel oily afterwards, but plump and helathy. It’s perfect for my sensitive skin in the winter and very oily T-zone in the summer. The essence feels a little bit sticky, but it disappears pretty quickly. Everyone should try it out.

This is such a soothing treat for my skin! It's non-irritating and fragance-free. A very silky essence that layers beautifully with my ampoule and gives my skin that extra bit of plumpness and glow that lasts all day. Since it's so gentle and light, I use it both morning and night.

als je twijfelt of dit product het waard is, laat deze ervaring je dan overtuigen: dit is het allerbeste product dat ik ooit heb gebruikt. sinds ik deze heb gekocht wil ik nooit meer wat anders, dit is m’n derde fles en we zijn al 2 jaar verder. de finish is zijdezacht, niet plakkerig maar je gezicht voelt aan als fluweel. ik heb een hele oily t zone en droge wangen, maar voor allebei zorgt het zo geweldig goed, m’n wangen zijn super gehydrateerd en m’n voorhoofd is niet zo shiny. mijn hyperpigmentatie is enorm afgenomen

Na veel positieve reviews heb ik het een kans gegeven. Ik kocht dit product aan in juni en gebruik het nu al enkele maanden. Ik breng dit aan na het reinigen van het gezicht en voordat ik mijn serum aanbreng. Het is enorm hydraterend en ik merkte dat mijn donkere vlekken (hyperpigmentatie) op mijn wangen meer en meer verdwenen. Dit is echt een geweldig product voor als je hyperpigmentatie wilt laten vervagen. Het voelt bovendien ook niet echt plakkerig aan, wat positief is voor mensen met een vette huid.

Het is een heel vreemde textuur, maar je raakt er zeker gewend aan! Ik zie/voel nog geen speciale dingen ervan, maar zal het blijven gebruiken!

I bought this product hoping it would help with redness and dehydration. I noticed a slight improvement in those areas and it feels pretty hydrating, even if I'm not a big fan of the sticky texture. Nowadays I use it for extra hydration when I feel like moisturizer won't be enough. However, after purchasing using more hydrating cleansers and moisturizers, I feel like it's unnecessary. A good moisturizer should already do what this essence does. It's a good product, just unnecessary for me. I think only people with very dry skin that need A LOT of hydration would benefit from this. A plus is that it's very mild, so sensitive skin won't be bothered by it.

I bought this product with a lot of expectations because it claims to calm the skin and help with irritation/redness but unfortunately it caused really nasty breakout (very painful acnes and whiteheads). I don’t think this makes the product bad or anything but I guess it’s not for everyone. I advise everyone to try a sample before purchase the product so you don’t waste your money on something that you won’t use!

I usually use it at night since I believe during the day it is a bit too heavy, but it does wonders. It brings an extra layer of hydration and helps moisturizing the skin within such a short amount of time. My skin feels plump and bright.

Graag had ik zoals het grootste deel van de gebruikers van de daken willen schreeuwen hoe fantastisch dit product is. Helaas, bij mij is dat niet het geval. Het doet niks slechts hoor, maar ik merk letterlijk geen verschil met als ik het wel of niet opdoe. Ik gebruik het inmiddels al een paar maanden en twee keer per dag. Al bekend was ik met diverse slakkenslijm producten. Zo deed de slakkengel van De Tuinen altijd wonderen, maar sinds ze Holland & Barrett zijn geworden, is de formule aangepast en werkt het niet meer helaas. Dus ik hoopte dat dit mijn nieuwe 'holy grail' zou worden. Mijn huid is gecombineerd: iets vettere T-zone met vochtarm wang-gedeelte. Geen plump- of dewy of glowing effect bij mij. Ja, als je het net opsmeert eventjes, maar zodra het is ingetrokken, zie ik helaas geen verschil. Conclusie: ik vind het absoluut geen slecht product, maar voor mijn huid deed het niet waar iedereen zo enthousiast over is. Pluspunten: a little goes a long way; twee pompjes per keer is genoeg, geen parfum en andere rotzooi, product is licht en lijkt de huid absoluut niet te verstoppen en lijkt daarmee ook acné vriendelijk.

Leuk product om te gebruiken, omdat het ook echt slijmerig is. Er zit geen geur aan, je hebt maar twee pompjes nodig voor je gezicht en nek. Het laat je huid mooi glowy achter en hydrateert het ook. Eerst gebruikte ik het 's ochtens en 's avonds, nu enkel savonds en ik merk dat dat ook genoeg is.

Savonds opgedaan en smorgens een mooie Gehydrateerde Huid. Ik heb al veel geprobeerd en deze was boven mijn verwachtingen.

The product is absolutely lovely and truly leaves a soothing, protective layer on the skin. I'd recommend it to anyone, with this one caveat: CAUTION! I'd advise against using this should you have either a shellfish allergy or a dust mite allergy. I wasn't aware, but apparently snail secretion can have adverse effects on people with these allergies. YMMV, but take this into account as I developed a rash. It saddens me greatly as it was the perfect winter shield.

Echt een heel fijn product. Ik heb een droge huid waarvan de vocht barrière beschadigd is. Dit product heeft erg geholpen bij het verbeteren van mijn vochtbalans en mijn huid is een stuk beter. Ik krijg de laatste tijd veel complimenten over mijn huid dus zeker een aanrader :)

I had high hopes for this product and purchased it to soothe and hydrate irritated, red skin. However, I feel like I can only apply it on moist skin or mixed with water in order to keep the sticky texture from causing friction and irritation on the skin. Even then, it doesn't feel comfortable or soothing for me. I do give it three stars because also applied it to some irritation on my arms and it seems to work as intended (help the skin recover) there. So I guess its a decent product, just not necessarily as advertised for all sensitive skin types.

Voor mensen die last hebben van acne scars en puistjes raad ik deze zeker aan. Ik heb net mijn 1ste flesje opgemaakt en daarom weer een 2de gekocht. Ik gebruik 2 pompjes in de octhend en avond na mijn toner en 'pat' het op mijn gezicht.

I love this product! I notice that after some time using it, my face is not dry anymore and it feels moist. Three pumps are enough to be applied all over my face.

Ik had veel goede dingen gehoird over dit product, maar voor mij werkte het helaas niet. Ik heb het eerst op een klein stukje van mijn arm geprobeerd. Het voelde eerst heel verkoelend en hydraterend aan, maar later merkte ik dat mijn huid roze en geïrriteerd was. Het is maar een milde reactie, en als ik niet wist dat ik het had aangebracht was het me waarschijnlijk niet opgevallen. Toch ga ik het niet gebruiken, gezien ik het had aangeachaft als een herstellend product. Jammer!

This is my favourite snail product. It hydrates and plumps my skin without breaking me out. I didn't notice a big difference in my hyperpigmentation but it did help to even out my skin tone.

Fijne essence! Ik gebruik het als onderdeel van mijn avondritueel; voor overdag gaat mijn huid er iets teveel van glimmen. Ik had weer eens teveel aan mijn huid zitten pulken en de essence heeft geholpen mijn huid supersnel weer te laten herstellen. Top dus!

A very easily applied essence that is also lightweight. Some of the redness in my face has calmed down, as well as some scars that have softened.

On its own I didn't notice a visible result, but in combination with another soothing essence I can see a boost in reducing redness and inflammation from breakouts using this essence.

Ik gebruik dit product als moisturizer in de nacht voor mijn vettige, vochtarme huid. Het product hydrateert heel goed. Verder merk ik niet echt verschil als het gaat om het vervagen van littekens ofzo, maar ik mis het product wel als ik het een dagje niet gebruik.

Beste product om je huid weer te herstellen van beschadigingen en hyperpigmentatie. Ik ben erg blij met deze aankoop en zal het zeker ook een lange tijd blijven gebruiken.

A while ago I got inspired by Korean skincare. Long story short: I’ve decided to add one more step into my skincare ritual. The essence step spiked me interest. And why? Because I’ve heard only good things about it and every time I see someone applying it into the face, it looks so freaking glossy, shiny, hydrated! So basically everything that claims to make my skin more hydrated, moisturised, plumped, smooth, I’m willing to try! *let’s be real..who isn’t?!* And this is the one I bought, the Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. I’ve been using this for a while now and my skin feels indeed more hydrated, smooth & bright. It sounds even better if we think that we are getting this results already in the step right before the moisturiser, I mean… that’s amazing right?!

My holy grail products of all time! This stuff is amazing! I love everything snail extract, so 96% snail mucin? I had to buy this. This product really calms down my acne-prone/sensitive skin and it heals my skin so well. It really moisturizes my skin as well. In the winter I use this in the morning and at night, because my skin is quite normal then. However in the summer I get more towards the oily side, so I only use this at night when the weather gets hotter. I can't describe how much I love this product. If I had to recommend one product to anyone, it would be this one.

Best product I've ever used. I had a minor scar on my cheek from surgery. It never faded with the prescription ointments, but now since using this essence it has almost disappeared. Further, it makes my skin glow and super soft. Definitely a holy grail skincare product!!

This is a must in my skincare closet, I've bought it numerous times. I love snail mucin as a powerful healing ingredient, so this product got my heart by default. :) Though it's not exactly an 'essence' type of texture, but what else would you expect from a 96% snail extract? Calming, hydrating and soothing, it's a great product for a summer vacation: you can slap it on as many times as you get out of the pool.

I bought this once in summer and I didn't like it at all. However, this winter my skin has been acting up and I started using this essence again, and now I love it! I will probably have to stop using it again in summer though, with my oily skin.

Most likely my favourite product to ever exist. Has helped tremendously with fading my forehead bumps and smoothing out my skin texture. Even my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation isn't as bad as before since I've been using this. Would fully recommend!
