A hybrid sunscreen that doubles as a skin tone smoothening makeup primer. Heimish Bulgarian Rose Tone-up Sunscreen has SPF50+ PA++++ to protect the skin against both UVA- and UVB rays. The pink toned sunscreen helps to create an even skin tone, making the sunscreen suitable to be used by itself or under makeup. Ingredients like niacinamide and PHA help to smoothen skin texture while rose flower water nourishes the skin and provides it with hydration.
One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We seperate three kinds of uv rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 naometer and UVA2 has a reach of 320 en 340 nanometer), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozon layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm.
UV Filters:
- Zinc Oxide (UVA1- en UVA2, UVB), Octinoxate(80-320 nm), Ensulizole (280-320nm).
Ingredients we love:
- Niacinamide: Stimulates natural ceramide-production and fades hyperpigmentation. Leads to firm, even-toned skin.
- Lactobionic Acid (PHA): A next generation chemical exfoliant similar to AHA, but with minimal to no risk of irritation. Mildly removes dead skin cells, revealing a smooth, even-toned complexion.
- Ascorbic Acid: Primary antioxidant that boosts the skin’s collagen production, fades pigmentation and brown spots and boosts UV protection.
- Apply adequate amount at the last step of basic skin care
- Apply 30 minutes before going out in the sun.
- Reapply every two hours for the perfect sun protection during the outdoor activity.
