Centella Soothing Sun Essence

Protect your face and body with the Barr Cosmetics Centella Soothing Sun Essence SPF50+ PA++++. The chemical sunscreen is enriched with adenosine to improve the look of fine lines, and niacinamide to care for and brighten the skin. Centella asiatica and sodium hyaluronate soothe and hydrate the skin for a glowy and healthy look. Barr Cosmetics designs skincare with respect for the marine ecosystem, making this sunscreen vegan, and reef friendly. The texture is non-sticky and watery to deliver full hydration without leaving a white-cast.

One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We seperate three kinds of uv rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 naometer and UVA2 has a reach of 320 en 340 nanometer), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozon layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm.

Ingredients we love

• Niacinamide: Stimulates natural ceramide-production and fades hyperpigmentation. Leads to firm, even-toned skin. 
• Tocopherol, vitamin E: A crucial, oil soluble antioxidant in skin. Protects skin from free radical damage and makes skin more resilient against UV rays.
• Centella Asiatica: A wound healing plant with anti-inflammatory qualities. Stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, hydrates skin and increases the antioxidant levels in skin.
• Adenosine: An important bio-organic compound that strengthens the skin barrier. Adenosine has anti inflammatory and skin firming qualities.
