A handy, travel-friendly sun stick version of Make P:rem gentle UV Defense Me. Calming Sun Cream. The UV Defense Me. Calming Sun Stick is enriched with similar soothing and moisturizing ingredients as the cream. Bamboo water and melon extract work calming on irritated, sensitive skin. Zinc Oxide, a mineral UV-filter, protects the skin effectively however is gentle enough for those with a sensitive skin type. The sun stick format makes it easy to reapply throughout the day without leaving a white cast. The sun stick can also be used as a primer before make-up to effectively protect the skin throughout the day.
One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We seperate three kinds of uv rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 naometer and UVA2 has a reach of 320 en 340 nanometer), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozon layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm.
UV Filters:
- Zinc Oxide (UVA1- en UVA2, UVB).
Ingredients we love:
- Rosemary Extract: Contains potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant components, and kills detrimental bacteria in skin.
- Pear Extract: Pears are rich in antioxidants and can contribute to glowing, clear skin.
- Tocopherol (Vitamin E): A crucial, oil soluble antioxidant in skin. Protects skin from free radical damage and makes skin more resilient against UV rays.
- Apply adequate amount as the last step of basic skin care.
- Apply 30 minutes before going out in the sun.
- Reapply every two hours for the perfect sun protection during the outdoor activity.
