Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is a nightcream with Centella extracts and Guaiazulene, a plant-based component extracted from camomile oil. Guaiazulene is a powerful calming and repairing agent and is responsible for the cream's unique blue colour. Centella helps the skin regenerating and prevents scarring and hyperpigmentation. Suitable for oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin.

Ingredients we love
- Guaiazulene: A soothing ingredient that calms down swelling, inflammation and redness, and also an antioxidant agent that helps reduce the formation of free radicals.Â
- Centella Asiatica: A wound healing plant with anti-inflammatory qualities. Stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, hydrates skin and increases the antioxidant levels in skin.
- Ceramides: The ‘glue’ between your skin cells. Ceramides enforce the skin’s protective moisture barrier, and increase the hydration of the skin, leaving skin feeling smooth and firm, with less fine lines.

I love this moisturiser! It absorbs really well into my skin, without the feeling of any residue laying on top. It calms my skin and deeply moisturises/ nourishes it. My skin tends to be a bit reddish (not full on rosacea), but with this cream it calms my skin and makes my skin feel plump (rich). Due to the calming effect it feels like my skin returns to my 'normal' colour. Moreover due to the texture it does not feel like there is any residue left on your skin and it does not clog up my pores. Would highly recommend for people with acne and irritated skin.

So good!! Becaus of my combination skin its so hard to find a good moisturizer. This one moisturises my skin and makes it so bouncy and soft without giving me breakouts. I had so much acne on my chin and forehead but this moisturizer and the gentle cleanser cleared it in days.

I love this product so much. I bought this product I think like six times and I can’t live without it. I have rosacea and it really calms my skin. It’s pretty thick and especially my T-zone gets very oily, but I don’t have any problems with it making my skin more oily. I'm so happy that it's so much better because I have been struggling a lot with redness and blemishes for years, I can see my skin improved. I remember trying out this cream years ago when my skin was more oily/combinaison, and I really had the feeling that it was doing nothing for my skin, and that it was too heavy. For that price, I was disappointed.\nBut on one of my recent order, I got a sample of it and tried it again. It was a revelation! \nIt really helps to soothe my sensitive/dry-ish skin, and help to maintain an healthy skin barrier. Now I have the feeling that this cream is acting as a safety net when I am trying a new skincare product that doesn't work at all for me (like the cosrx triple hyaluronic ampoule that is irritating my skin like crazy). All of that to say that I was very happy to give it another try, years after when the aging process made my skin naturally crave for these type of formulations."}

I was sceptical at first about all the hype, but it's blown me away! It actually works! I use this as a spot treatment at night whenever I have a bit of redness and it's usually gone by morning. The smell is faint and oddly pleasant, doesn't feel artificial. The texture is a bit on the thicker side, but it absorbs nicely even when I use it as a moisturiser. It's not quite hydrating enough for my dehydrated skin when used as a moisturiser, but that's not what I bought it for, so I have no complaints! On my second tube now!"}

honestly, this cream is really on the pricier side but even though that's its only downside it's really hella good. I've been using it for a good year now and can say it can help pretty well with my redness and hormonal acne (even though it doesn't get rid of it sadly) It also does a good job at healing acne scars which is pretty pog. It helps with calming and redness and with spots. It is very hydrating yet it doesn't leave my skin too sticky or greasy after use as it absorbs fairly fast even when I apply a thicker layer. "}

I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now. I’m really amazed how it calms down the redness on my face overnight but I’m still very wary of it. On days where I feel that my skin is dry I will also use this in my morning routine but I feel like during the day the product doesn’t absorb as well and instead leaves me more greasy and prone to break out. During the night however it gets absorbed really well and relieves me of my redness. So although I am a bit sceptical, I really enjoy this for my evening routine and would buy this again."}

Ik gebruik de Midnight Blue Calming Cream al drie weken elke avond. Ik heb last van acne en had de creme gekocht om de huid te laten kalmeren in de nacht. Het heeft mijn acne niet beter of erger gemaakt. Wel heb ik het gevoel dat m'n huid echt kalmer is en puistjes en pukkeltjes in de ochtend wat rustiger en minder rood geworden zijn. De creme voelt niet vet aan en trekt normaal in. Ik ga het product zeker nog een keer kopen. "}

I know that so many people rave about this cream, but honestly it didn't really do much for me! I got it because I have oily skin mostly everywhere except on my cheeks, which are quite dry. So I wanted a thicker cream to spot place on my cheek area alone, but this doesn't really do anything. My cheeks still feel dry afterwards (even though I do couple it with a hydrating serum as well). Maybe it's just that my skin is weird, but it's pretty expensive for a product that is not as effective as other, less expensive, options (for me, personally)."}

I have mixed feelings about this one. When applied over my entire face it gave me redness on my cheeks and also felt a bit too thick for me. However I later applied it more as a spot treatment for a very dry patch and it worked really well for that. So if you have normal/combination skin I'd say use this as a troubleshooter rather than as a moisturiser :)"}

This product is a life saver, I am on my 6th (if it is not more) already! I put it on at night and the morning after my skin is calm, soft and relaxed. My red spots and blemishes are way less due to this creme. For a while I tried other products but I come back to this one each time. When I got back to this product I used it for a week or so, my friend suddenly commented that my skin looked great and calm! I’m really critical when it comes to products. So trust me when I say it’s good. It really calms angry acne (since I’m a teenager I have really bad acne like all over my face) it also calmed down lots of acne scars I used to have. I wouldn’t say my acne is way less than before (maybe because I keep popping them whoops) but I do see difference with before cause now it’s even skin tone and not a red tomato. Voor mijn huid is deze creme een must. Ik heb vaak een gevoelige huid rondom mijn mond door eczeem. De plekken worden vaak rood, droog, schilferig en trekkerig. Dit is de enige creme die meteen verlicht, verzacht en bijdraagt aan een goed herstel. Ik raad de creme ook aan om te gebruiken na een dag (met veel) blootstelling aan de zon. "}

When I first started using the cream my skin had to get used to it a bit, however now I can definitely see the calming effects of the cream that does do wonders for my skin. I do feel like I need an extra boost of moisture in the v zone, where the skin is generally thickest, but overall a good product. \n\nToen ik deze creme begon te gebruiken moest mijn huid wel even wennen, maar na het een tijdje te gebruiken kan ik de kalmerende effecten van de creme goed zien. Ik heb wel het idee dat ik in mijn V-Zone, waar je huid over het algemeen dikker is, wel wat meer hydratatie nodig heb. Al met al een goed product. "}

Ik heb een combinatie huid met rode vlekken en droge plekken op mijn wangen. Deze crème helpt heel goed tegen roodheid en heeft me geholpen om mijn huid barrière weer wat te herstellen. Op zichzelf is hij misschien niet voedend genoeg als moisturizer, maar dat is het volgens de fabrikant ook eigenlijk niet. Dus het doet uitstekend wat het moet doen.

Mijn favo maar echt mijn go to and ultimate favo creme als het komt om even me huid tot balans te brengen. ik gebruik vaak actieve ingrediënten zoals retinol of lastig acid wat mn gezicht natuurlijk exfolieerd en laat vervellen. op de dagen dat ik dat niet gebruik of wanneer mn gezicht rood of dehydrated is gebruik ik dit en omg het lijkt alsof ik een explosie aan voeding en soothiness weer terug krijg. absoluut een aanrader voor mensen die snel een droge huid krijgen

Midnight blue cream ontvangen als monster, doordat ik Klairs soothing serum had besteld. Ik heb de laatste tijd enorm last van mijn rosacea en geen een enkel product doet wat het beloofd. Ik was sceptisch en ik was daarom van plan om niet meer meerdere producten naast elkaar aan te schaffen. Bij deze dus het serum en de cream kunnen proberen. Ik heb ook een enorm sensitieve huid, maar binnen twee dagen is mijn rosacea nagenoeg bijna gekalmeerd/verdwenen. Mijn huid is enorm glad, want alle bultjes zijn bijna weggetrokken. Er is ook bijna niets roods meer te zien. Deze twee Koreaanse producten doen wat ze beloven. Ik ben gelijk de website op gegaan om een cream voor mezelf aan te schaffen.

Heel tevreden! Mijn huid is heel gevoelig en reageert wel eens op koud weer of nieuwe producten, zodra ik dit ging gebruiken kalmeerde mijn huid enorm. Mijn huid is minder rood en heb veel minder last van vervellen. Ik gebruik het met dit koude weer elke avond voor het slapen gaan!

Love this product. Especially now in the winter, I feel like it is very nourishing, I use it after a sheet mask. Skin feels super soft the day after. It is a bit greasy, but it is fine for bed.

Tot nu toe een van mijn favoriete K-Beauty producten. Niet voor élke avond, maar toch enkele keren per week werkt deze crème als een kalmerend dekentje voor de huid. Naar het schijnt nu ook in tube verkrijgbaar (hygiënischer). Echt een aanrader voor zowat elk huidtype (ook de acné/gevoelige huid).

While this cream is super good for sensitive skin, it’s not as moisturizing as the vitamin E mask from Klairs. It is however really pleasant and comfortable for combination sensitive skin and perfect for the summer:). For dryer skins and dryer climates nothing beats the vit. E mask that you can sleep in:).

I got this product recently (after a friend of mine raving about Klairs:)) and I am happy to say that it really is amazing!! I mixed in some of the vitamin C serum and it left my skin feeling nourished and glowy- I have skin on the dryer side that still breaks out but this moisturizer really is a treat for the skin! I only use it at night though, as it can be photo-sensitive.
