The APLB Glutathione Niacinamide range focuses on brightening the skin. Glutathione is a strong antioxidant that protects skin cells from external influences such as pollutants and UV rays. These cause the breakdown of collagen and elastin, which are proteins that provide the skin's firmness and elasticity. A deficiency of these essential proteins leads to skin ageing. In addition, Glutathione blocks tyrosinase, an enzyme required to make melanin. Too much melanin can cause dark spots and uneven skin tone. This makes the products in this range perfect for reducing hyperpigmentation and achieving an even skin tone!
