How does the Korean make-up routine work?

That sounds like a lot (and it is), but according to Korean beauty rituals, applying layer upon layer – from brightening to moisturizing products – actually provides clean and radiant skin that seems to glow. Because the Korean make-up routine has so many steps, skincare is preferred over make-up and it is therefore better to shorten your make-up routine if you are short on time. After your facial cleansing, the general rule applies: start with the thinnest (essence) and end with the thickest product (moisturizer).
