The Innisfree Intensive Long Lasting Sunscreen EX SPF50+ PA++++ is a hybride sunscreen (contains both chemical as mineral filters) that offers protection against both UVA- and UVB rays. The mineral filters are formulated in nano form (the partical size is smaller), so the chances of experiencing a whitecast becomes slimmer. The sunscreen is also water resistant.
One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We seperate three kinds of uv rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 naometer and UVA2 has a reach of 320 en 340 nanometer), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozon layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm.
UV Filters:
- Zinc Oxide (UVA1- en UVA2, UVB), Tinosorb S (280-400 nm), Uvinal A plus (320-400 nm), Uvinal T 150 (280-320nm), , Titanium Oxide (UVA2 en UVB).
Ingredients we love
- Beta-Glucan: Has wound healing, antioxidant and anti-age abilities and soothes and moisturizes skin.
- Tocopherol, vitamin E: A crucial, oil soluble antioxidant in skin. Protects skin from free radical damage and makes skin more resilient against UV rays.
- Apply adequate amount at the last step of basic skin care
- Apply 30 minutes before going out in the sun.
- Reapply every two hours for the perfect sun protection during the outdoor activity.
